Attorney and Family Mediator
Sandi Bott began practicing family law in 1979 when bell bottom jeans were all the rage. She grew up in various parts of the country but attended undergrad and law school at UT. Upon moving to Chattanooga, she started working at Southeast Tennessee Legal Services, before beginning private practice with Clarence Walker and Albert Watson, both veteran attorneys who taught Sandi the importance of zealous representation of the clients' interests.
By the 1990's, with the advent of a pilot program in mediation, Sandi was ready to be among the first adopters of mediation as an alternative to fighting it out in court. She quickly realized how much more effective mediation can be, particularly when children are involved. Mediation has become Sandi's preferred way to settle family issues, whether she's representing a client as their attorney or acting as a neutral mediator for others. In the course of the past 20 years, Sandi has participated in numerous mediations and has seen the benefit of people resolving differences on their own terms.
Sandi currently resides on Signal Mountain with her husband and enjoys spending time outside of her practice with her two sons and four grandchildren.
